Getting to the Core of Spinning
November 16 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm| $90.00
Instructor: Leslie Hoex
In this workshop you will be learning how to core spin with a carded textured art yarn batt. Then you will learn several ways to ply the core singles into beautiful skeins of textured art yarn.
Once we are done plying, you will learn the best way to set your yarns and the different ways you can use your beautiful art yarn.
If time permits, there will be demonstrations on how to make boucle’ out of your coils and how to spin in mohair locks.
Experience Level: Intermediate Beginner: Have a good working relationship with your wheel.
