About Your Instructor:

Susan Kroll is a highly skilled spinner, weaver, sewer and knitter who lives in Sequim.

In the early 90’s, Susan took a “get-away” workshop on lace knitting from the Russian ladies who are highly skilled in the Orenburg knitting traditions. She was enamored! After acquiring some Shetland sheep of her own she studied the Shetland lace knitting techniques as well. She loves lace for its elegance and light warmth when knitted with protein fibers.
