Imagine that two people got together to weave a blanket, one from Finland and the other from Scotland. This warm and cozy throw would be the result. The weave structure is a Finnish Bird’s Eye Twill that makes for a great drape. The plaid is reminiscent of the Land of the Scots. The yarn is a mixture of 60% Coopworth Sheep wool blended with 40% kid mohair locally sourced. It was spun at Mora Valley Spinning Mill in New Mexico then dyed with natural dyes. I take great pride in using material from my own animals when I weave. I hope you will enjoy the color and the snuggle factor in this blanket. Professionally dry clean only.
