This warm and cozy blanket is ready for you to snuggle into when an afternoon nap becomes irresistible. It is a mixture of 60% wool from my own Coopworth Sheep blended with 40% kid mohair locally sourced. The yarn was spun at Mora Valley Spinning Mill in New Mexico then dyed with natural dyes. The warp is a maroon color and the weft is various shades of blue and purple. I wove this blanket on a Glimakra Loom at the Artful Ewe II, a weaving studio in Port Gamble, Washington. I love the process of weaving, especially when I am using my own wool. I leave a little bit of my heart in everything I make. Look for it! Professionally dry clean only.
